SchoolTipLine, LLC. SchoolTipline™ is not an emergency reporting system. If you need to report an emergency or illegal activity call 911. SchoolTipline takes the reports and other information submitted through this site very seriously. Please make your comments and answers as correct and truthful as possible.


  • 1. GENERAL
    This Terms of Use Policy sets forth guidelines for acceptable use of SchoolTipline.com's web site ("Site"). By using this Site you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use. Please read the terms of use carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site.


  • 2. NOTICE
    This site provided by SchoolTipline.com is not an emergency service. Do not use this site to report events that present threat or danger to life or property. In such cases user acknowledge that they need to Call 911 or the proper emergency phone number to report emergencies.


  • 3. USE, PRIVACY, AND ANONYMITY
    SchoolTipline.com has instituted a process or forum whereby Users may report certain incidents or questionable activities concerning relevant information about their school to SchoolTipline.com and may do so in an anonymous fashion. A notice of a new report is then automatically sent to school administrators email and asks them to login to SchoolTipline to review and manage the report. Should you submit a report through equipment provided by your school, SchoolTipline.com does not take any responsibility for possible monitoring and/or tracking of information submitted. The types of incidents which may be reported include those which relate to bullying, threats of violence, harassment, drugs, depression, discrimination, vandalism, theft, unsafe conditions and other concerns, suggestions, or questions about the User's education environment and/or school policies. SchoolTipline.com will receive this information and will forward a report to the school’s selected site administrators. The obligation of SchoolTipline.com extends only to receiving and reporting information to the selected administrators. Users acknowledge and agree that SchoolTipline.com will take no action to address the subject matter of any information reported through this system, without further authorization and direction from the User's school, which may or may not be given by the User's school.
    SchoolTipline.com respects the User's right to privacy and any information that personally and directly identifies the User. SchoolTipline.com will not purposely disclose the User's contact information (name, phone number, fax number or email) to anyone unless the User threatens life or specifically authorizes disclosure of that information through the SchoolTipline.com website or SchoolTipline.com determines the user is using the system for illegal purposes and abuses. SchoolTipline.com may use any contact information which the User supplies in order to ask the User follow up questions on behalf of the school to whom a report may be submitted, and will maintain the User's anonymity in that process, unless the User authorizes SchoolTipline.com to release such information.
    SchoolTipline.com's user schools reserve the right to choose how to act, or not act, based upon the information provided to SchoolTipline.com or in a report from SchoolTipline.com to the school, unless otherwise required by law. Furthermore, the school is not required to disclose any response or action(s) pursuant to any information that is provided through the SchoolTipline.com system.
    SchoolTipline.com will not knowingly release nor sell the User's contact information to any third party without the User's prior permission.
    If you wish to remain anonymous, please take care not to report information in a manner that may personally identify you. SchoolTipline.com can not guarantee anonymity if the User supplies personally identifiable information within their report, suggestions, or other tips.


  • 4. OWNERSHIP
    Except as otherwise stated, the contents of this Site including, but not limited to, the text and images contained herein and their arrangement, including all intellectual property rights therein ("Materials"), are the sole and exclusive property of SchoolTipline.com. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any Materials.


  • 5. AVAILABILITY
    Although SchoolTipline.com will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the Services available without temporary interruption (except for scheduled maintenance downtime), SchoolTipline.com assumes no responsibility for loss or damage that may result from any interruption or suspension of the Service for any reason.


  • 6. DISCLAIMER
    THIS SITE AND ITS CONTENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND SchoolTipline.com MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THIS SITE OR ANY SITE OR SERVICE ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THIS SITE. SchoolTipline.com EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT WILL SchoolTipline.com BE LIABLE TO USER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND THAT MAY RESULT FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SITE.


  • 7. RELEASE
    As a User of the SchoolTipline.com system, and by submitting a report or other information to SchoolTipline.com, the User acknowledges that the sole obligation of SchoolTipline.com shall be to receive and transmit information provided by Users in the report on an anonymous basis, unless otherwise specified by the User. The User, on behalf of himself or herself, his or her heirs, successors, family members, agents and assigns, agrees to and does hereby release SchoolTipline.com and its respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, successors, predecessors, agents and assigns, of and from, any and all liability, claims, actions, causes of actions and damages which relate in any way the Users' school's actions or failures to take action as the result of having received, or been available to receive, information relative to an report, suggestion, or other form of tip.


  • 8. PROHIBITED USES
    User agrees not to engage in any unacceptable use of the Service or this Site, which includes, without limitation, use of the Service to: (a) disseminate or transmit unsolicited messages or commercial email; (b) disseminate or transmit material that, to a reasonable person may be abusive, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, harassing, grossly offensive, vulgar, threatening or malicious; (c) disseminate or transmit files, graphics, software or other material that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property right of any person; (d) interfere, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts on the Service or any other computer network; or (e) disseminate or transmit viruses, Trojan horses or any other malicious code or program.

    THE USER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE INTENTIONAL MISREPORTING OF INFORMATION OR USE OF THIS SITE FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN THAT FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED IS PROHIBITED, AND THAT THE INTENTIONAL MISUSE OF THIS SITE MAY RESULT IN INVESTIGATION, AND POSSIBLE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AND/OR CIVIL LIABILITY FOR MONETARY AND/OR OTHER DAMAGES.
